This new year's was horrible! Outside seating is walk in only, they opened 6pm. I arrived 5pm to wait for a table. The reception lady told me that she can't guarantee space for outside. I said how is that possible because outside is walk in only, no way to reserve, and I'm an hour yearly. She pulled her face, walked away as it's I'm causing her a lot of trouble. 6pm comes and we get a table, however there is reserved signs on the other tables? We know it's minimum spend 500 per head, however we arrived 6pm, planning to sit there till past midnight for the count down, as such we will easily make up the 500 per head. (Before reading the rest, please know that our waiter was very nice, every time we ask for something he went inside to find out, as such it was not him being rude to us, but whoever was on the inside). Asked the waiter if we could order beer and cocktails, he said no only outside menu, however the beer is on tap on the outside. The staff felt very unsure about what we allowed outside and what not. Then he came back and said "sorry we can't serve beer because minimum spend is 500". I replied and said that we can order 10 beers, we are going to be here till the countdown? My mom's birthday was 1 Jan. I brought candles and then asked if we could order dessert, and put the candles on. The waiter said sorry no desserts outside. 30 minutes later the reserved table next to us showed up. Then they get desserts. I asked the staff how does this work? With a reply, they are VIP guests. Don't get me wrong, we ended up making friends with that table and yes, Terry and his wife Apple are VIPs there, lovely people. But the restaurant staff made the whole night unpleasant as we felt unwelcome. My parents came to visit all the way from South Africa with my mom's birthday being 1 Jan, I really thought it would be a fun night at Harlan's as we have spent the previous 2 years there and it was amazing. Unfortunately, this year, management and staff treated us unwell. What a shame.

10 years ago met my sweetheart in this restaurant, tonight we celebrate here! Renovated, great ambience as always, great city line view, warm attentive services, chief chef Ken walked us through our courses, upscale taste👍 Chef able to present different levels of taste without overpower the seafood’s own nature flavour, Michelin level, very very enjoyable🥂🥂 Thank you for a wonderful dinner & time!

Nice fine dining restaurant. Great harbour view if you got a table near the window or outside at the balcony. Reasonably spacious. Quite cosy. Service was great. The waiter was very patient to reveal the details of the menu and the dishes. Picked the 4 course set dinner which includes 2 appetizers, 1 main course and 1 dessert. The dishes had great presentation. Taste-wise was nice but not wow at this price point. The dishes were so fine that most of them were relatively small and there was much vegetables. Most of the vegetables was for decoration purpose.

The dishes are tasty and have well used of the seasonal ingredients. Love the sea urchin served with the crab as each ingredient has its respective savoury and separate freshness. The beef is succulent and is redolent when serving with the mashed truffle potatoes. Sadly the facility lowers its rating. The floor near the entrance is slippery even the staffs have kindly reminded each visitor to be careful. The windows seems not to have regularly cleaning practice, which is not expectable when one of its appealing points is the gleaming skyline of the buildings ( the view is still captivating when you enjoy the drinks in the outdoor area). If the restaurant manager will check this online review, hope that they will do some renovations in the toilet , whose current quality and cleanliness do not meet the basic standard of the good restaurant. Its quality is even worse than the facility in the Mainland. Hope its basic facility can be improved and I would pay another visit with my overseas friends as its food and outdoor rooftop night view are excellent.

Delicate food, almost 360 degree beautiful seaview of HK, excellent service, price reasonable, very worthy of the money spent, can't be better. So glad that I chose this restaurant to treat my relatives with decent food and environment. Well done!

Harlan's, stop cheating your customers out of their money for the terrible excuse of food you're serving. We ordered the prime rib and it was literally one piece of meat full of fat paired with an entire head of garlic. AN ENTIRE head. WITH NO SIDES. The lamb with barley was awful, the barely must've been stale because it had a horrible aftertaste that lingered. The prawn linguine was definitely reheated pasta as it was dry and hard, and the sauce was all gone. The lobster was most disappointing. The entire dish was literally just one whole lobster, no sides. And it tasted so stale. I've never begged other people to finish my lobster for me. But I could not finish this. The only thing that did not want to make me gag was your French fry, which I assume you reheated from some frozen bag. By the way, the entire meal for 7 people was over $6k HKD! You might as well rob someone.

Came for their unbeatable 270 degrees of Victoria Harbour view and a dinner set. Fine dining price charge restaurant, but cafe service , no follow up service and poor seating arrangements , we booked a table few weeks ago , the hostess seat you in the middle which is very small and strange table , We need to ask for move to the side table actually the one just next to us and all the window table are empty.no wonder why we need to booked in advance…. Overall ! It’s not worth for the price we paid , although we are not expecting high attentive services, anyway, it’s absolutely not a happy experience in my birthday dinner!
